Product

The MyUpah EWA is a cloud-based ready-to-use software for employees to access the Earned Wage Access (EWA) service. With the software, we can automate the process of earning wages reducing the workload of the HR department, secure with built-in security features and employee-friendly solution.

Traction

The software is to be launched by the end of July 2024.

Customers

For the initial phase, MyUpah Technology will target existing clients of its parent company, HREdge. Specifically, MyUpah will focus on companies with 50 employees and above, as these businesses are likely already providing advanced salary options through traditional methods. This software solution and EWA service applies to all industries except the civil servant. Customer acquisition will occur through direct engagement with employers and collaborations with other HR-related software providers, such as payroll systems, to integrate and offer complementary services.

MyUpah Technology operates in the Financial Inclusion (FinTech) industry. EWA's market share in Malaysia is still emerging and does not yet have a significant market share due to the early stage of the market and limited awareness among employers and employees. At the moment, the intention is to establish the local market before expanding to Southeast Asia and eventually plan for an Initial Public Offering in the future.

In Malaysia, there are only a few competitors, including Payd (local), Paywatch (local and global), HariGaji, and Wakalu. MyUpah's unique proposition is that it is the only EWA service provider backed by HR training and HR/IR advisory expertise.
