Summary

SecondLifeAsia (SLA) is the indispensable platform for the ASEAN circular iPhone economy. We have evolved from a linear repairs business into a vertically integrated ecosystem that controls the entire device lifecycle through three core pillars: REX (Repairs), Ctrlytics (Proprietary Security & MDM SaaS), and Device Sales (Preloved iPhones). By integrating physical repair capabilities with digital security, we de-risk device financing, unlocking a multi-billion dollar latent market for used premium devices across Southeast Asia.

Problem

A Market Locked Out by Risk.
The demand for premium iPhones in Southeast Asia is massive, yet millions of consumers remain underserved because financiers and telcos view device financing as high-risk.

  1. Uncontrollable Assets: Once financed, devices can be resold or disappeared with no recourse for the lender.
  2. Fraud at Scale: Over $11B was lost to device financing fraud across 6 ASEAN markets between 2020-2023.
  3. Suppressed Demand: Financiers have the capital but lack the tools to manage the risk, leaving a huge market gap.

Solution

De-Risking the Lifecycle.
SLA provides an integrated strategy to build an unassailable moat:

  1. REX: An established physical network that captures the device lifecycle for repairs, battery replacements, and refurbishing, ensuring the asset maintains its value.
  2. Ctrlytics: Our proprietary MDM (Mobile Device Management) security platform that allows financiers to remotely lock/disable devices in the event of default, turning a "disappearing asset" into a "secured asset."
  3. Circular Ecosystem: By combining these, we enable lenders to finance with confidence, while we capture revenue from software fees, repairs, and device sales.

Product

Our ecosystem consists of three integrated components:

  • Ctrlytics SaaS: A proprietary security and MDM platform for telcos and financiers to manage device portfolios with remote locking and geofencing capabilities.
  • REX Services: Apple-specialised repair and logistics infrastructure that serves as the physical foundation of the device lifecycle.
  • Phone Selling Biz: High-quality preloved iPhones sold leveraging our existing channels to keep acquisition costs flat and the business highly scalable.

Traction

Revenue Performance: Achieved RM 7.4 million in 2024, with 2025 serving as a strategic transition period to restructure REX and seed the Ctrlytics platform.

Tech Deployment: Successful development of the Ctrlytics locking software in 2024, with the initial seed rollout and preparation for commercial scale in 2025 and 2026.

Financial Inflection: 2026 marks our primary inflection point as Ctrlytics revenue comes on-stream alongside the Phone sales, driving gross sales from RM 6.0 million in 2026 to RM 15.77 million in 2027 and exceeding RM 30.2 million by 2031.

Operational Scale: We project managing over 150,000 Ctrlytics units across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia by 2027.

Phone Sales Scaling: Our hardware trajectory begins with a launch of 750 units in 2026, scaling to 3,000 units by 2027 and reaching a volume of over 5,000 units by 2031.

Regional Expansion: Active JV investment plans are underway for Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia to multiply profit pools.

Customers

B2B: Financiers and Telcos requiring risk-mitigation tools for device financing portfolios.

B2C: Consumers in the ASEAN region seeking affordable access to premium iPhones through financing or preloved purchases.

Business Model

SLA generates revenue through a diversified model:

  • SaaS Fees: Recurring monthly MDM fees per device managed via Ctrlytics.
  • Hardware & Warranty Sales: Margins from the sale and warranty of preloved iPhones.
  • Services & Repairs: Revenue from the established REX physical infrastructure.
  • JV Dividends: Profit sharing from regional expansion markets.

Market

The ASEAN iPhone Opportunity: Southeast Asia represents one of the fastest-growing markets for premium iPhones. However, high entry prices create a massive secondary market and a critical need for affordable financing.

The $11B Financing Gap: Regional device financing is currently crippled by an estimated $11B in fraud and defaults (Source: SLA Pitch Deck). This creates a "Risk Wall" where financiers have the capital but lack the security tools to serve the mass market.

Under-penetrated Premium Segment: The "value-conscious" demographic in ASEAN remains underserved. There is a vast latent demand for premium devices that remains unlocked because traditional credit scoring cannot account for the risk of "disappearing" mobile assets.

The Circular Shift: Regulatory and consumer trends are shifting toward the circular economy, driving demand for professionally refurbished devices and extended device lifecycles through specialised repair services.

Competition

SLA's competitive advantage lies in the integration of software and hardware:

  • Vs. Software-only MDM: We provide the physical REX infrastructure for repair and recovery that pure SaaS companies lack, ensuring that secured assets are not just locked but can be physically recovered and refurbished to maintain their residual value.
  • Vs. Traditional Repairers: We provide the digital security (Ctrlytics) that makes devices financeable, backed by our IRP (Independent Repair Provider) certification from Apple which allows us to repair and sell devices using genuine parts and tools while remaining the only player in the region to offer this dual-layer hardware/software protection.
  • Enterprise Integration: Our proprietary technology allows us to link APIs directly with financier and telco backend systems, providing them with real-time reporting on asset health, location compliance, and immediate locking capabilities that off-the-shelf security solutions simply cannot replicate.
  • The Network Effect: By operating a vertically integrated circular economy, we capture the entire margin of the device lifecycle—from initial sale to maintenance and end-of-life recovery—creating a cost-to-serve that is significantly lower than any competitor operating in just one of these silos.

Funding

Funding Target: RM1.5-5m

Financing (40%): Scaling financing for existing and new retail channels.

Talent, Tech & Marketing (36%): Strengthening the Ctrlytics engineering and commercial teams to drive SaaS adoption.

Regional Expansion (24%): Seed capital for JV rollouts in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

The percentage breakdown of use of funds will remain the same whether the Company raises the minimum or maximum target amount.

Vision

To be the indispensable platform for the circular device economy in ASEAN, unlocking premium technology for millions while eliminating asset risk for the industry.
